The yuckee prince

This is a humorous tale from one of my favourite Irish authors Larry O’ Loughlin. It is narrated in the first person by ‘witch wendy way’, who has been asked to babysit the young prince of the king and queen of the kingdom in which she has just moved to. Little did she know upon the invitation, the true nature of prince ‘Alysious Tripod Jefficus’. He would threaten both his parents and the people of the kingdom when he didn’t get what he wanted. This is her account of what happened when she encountered the angel faced prince for the first time and how it took an ogre, grizzly bears and crocodiles to learn his lesson on the importance of good behavior.
